Vedic Astrology Readings

Astrological Services
 

Freedom has been studying Vedic Astrology since 1996. He has been empowered to teach and give readings through the Parampara (lineage) of Sri Achyutanada Das from Orissa, India.

Readings consist of a general overview of the chart with a focus on achieving one’s purpose in life and recommending traditional and modern Vedic remedies to support this. Readings may then go into specific topics as desired by the individual.

Specific Readings

Gemstone Consultation:
The Atharva Veda says that the right Gem will make one like a King. Which gemstone is best for your empowerment? What Stone do you need to improve your health, career, love life and spirituality?

Relationship Compatibility:
Look at prospective partners to know compatibility. Look at the energy between two charts of people in an existing relationship and see the beneficial areas and downfalls and see what can be done astrologically to uplift the relationship. Determine what gemstones, mantras or vrattas can be used to improve relationship.

Question/Remedy
Often there is just a small question that needs to be addressed or remedied. This requires only about fifteen minutes. In many ways, it is more traditional to go to an astrologer, tell your problem and get a remedy. This is primarily for people who have already had a reading and have additional questions later in time.

How to schedule a Vedic Astrology Reading

Fill out the reading form and send to readings@shrifreedom.org and Amrita will get back to you with time availabilities. She will schedule an appointment after the form with birth data has been received. If you have some limitation with time please mention this, most astrology readings are done on Thursday and Friday, and appointment times are in Pacific Standard Time (PST). Waiting time will vary between a month and three months depending on the time of year. Donation is given after the reading is completed.

   

Payment for Readings

In December of 2006, through the copper plates, Freedom was told by his Parampara Guru, Sri Achyutanada Das, to do readings by donation only.

Achyutananda said do not deny money, but do not let it touch your hand. Think only about Bhagavan (the lord) that resides in the person’s heart, and not about how much money they have. Money clouds the mind, let people make a donation of their own will and you will be blessed with Bhagavan Kripa (the Grace of God).

Freedom surrendered to the words of his Parampara guru and began readings by donation. A problem arises that there are only so many hours in a day and e-mails come in from around the world asking for Free readings constantly to most astrologers who have an online presence. Freedom gives time preference to those who can come in person, and next those that are in the locality, if there is time availability then longer distance sessions may be possible by phone. There are no written readings. Freedom works approximately 3 days a week by 'donation only', but still continues a normal job to support his family. Your donations are very important to the continued availability of his services.

For an idea of appropriate donations to give to a Vedic Astrologer one is suggested to compare with the rates of other professional astrologers- average donation ranges from 100 to 200 US dollars.
